Christine Maurer is currently a Home Based Counselor
and Mentoring Specialist with Northern Virginia Counseling
Group, HBS. She is also the assistant Office Manager at Northern
Virginia Counseling Group, Inc. Mrs. Maurer graduated from
James Madison University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Psychology. During her time at JMU she completed two independent
studies and an honors thesis in psychology.
Mrs. Maurer interned
at Northern Virginia Counseling Group, Inc. from May to September
of 2000. During her senior year at JMU she mentored adopted
children through United Methodist Family Services.
Mrs. Maurer
returned to Northern Virginia Counseling Group, HBS after graduating
from JMU. There she began as a mentoring specialist before
becoming an independent counselor a year later. Mrs. Maurer
is currently dividing her time between home-based services
and office management at NVCG.
