Donald Edwards Jr. is a native of Mount Vernon, New York. He is a graduate of Virginia Union University where he received his BSW. After graduation, Donald returned to New York, and worked in the health care industry. Three years later, he received his call to ministry and Donald returned to Virginia to study at Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union; where he received his Master of Divinity degree. Over the years he has worked in various social service positions to help improve the quality of care for the clients he served. Donald feels he is “called"- to help young people rename themselves. He joined with National Counseling Group, Inc. seven years ago and has worked in different roles. Donald is passionate about educating the community churches, about the services National Counseling Group, Inc. provides and collaborating with all entities which support positive change in people.
“The greatest thing about working for National Counseling Group is that there is always room for growth.” He believes he is still growing and learning how to serve after all these years.
